In your journey of being an app developer, certificates are not the most viable proof that you can program or that you have knowledge of systems architecture.
What we are building here is a chain of proof of interaction with professionals, and this is what employers want to see. You will be able to share your journey and interactions with employers — and this is a stronger proof.
Traditional certificates can be easily obtained without practical skill. Learnjot's approach is different: we document your actual interactions, code reviews, project contributions, and mentorship sessions — creating a verifiable, living portfolio that employers trust more than a PDF certificate.
Students must be 18 years and above to enroll in the Learnjot program independently.
Below Age Policy: If you are below the age of 18, please add an email address of a guardian during registration. We will contact your guardian and have a meeting with you both before you can be accepted into the program.
This age requirement exists to ensure that all participants can independently enter into a learning agreement and take full responsibility for their educational journey. It also ensures a professional and focused environment for all cohort members.
For students who are under the age of 18, having a guardian on file is a mandatory requirement before joining the program.
The guardian meeting is a one-time requirement. Once complete, the student will receive normal access to all program resources. Learnjot reserves the right to deny program access to underage students who have not completed the guardian verification process.
If you have questions about these terms, or if your situation requires special consideration (e.g., guardian arrangements), please reach out to us before completing registration.
